Agoda announces Hot Hotel Deals to Celebrate the New Singapore Flyer
The Weekends are Higher On The New ‘Singapore Flyer’, Says Agoda With Hot Hotel Deals To Celebrate The World’s Tallest Observation Wheel

Go Smart Go Agoda

A weekend trip to Southeast Asia just reached greater heights with the creation of a 165 meters (541 feet) - observation wheel that towers over the world famous London Eye. The moving ‘Singapore Flyer’ will be a sight to see, and give visitors not only an incredible 360 o view over the Singaporean cityscape but glimpses of Malaysia and Indonesia too.

To celebrate the arrival of this exciting landmark, Agoda Company, an online hotel reservations service, is offering travelers a series of special deals on hotels in Singapore around the Marina Bay area where the wheel stands. The deals are especially advantageous during the Singapore Fireworks Festival 2008 which falls on the weekend of August 22-24, where the Singapore Flyer will provide a peerless panorama of the explosive display.

Live Life To The Fullest! Go Surfing At The Most Excellent Waters In The World

There is no skeptism that surfing has been a chief part of the Hawaiian traditions shaped by the Polynesian civilization. The clan leader was the greatest “wave rider” using the greatest surfboard from the finest Koa tree. In this day and age, surfboards are made of polystyrene or polyurethane foam and fiberglass.
These present surfboards are the greatest companion a surfer can ever have when battling enormoue waves on the paramount surfing hotspots in the World.

Hi Water Luvers.

There are surf-able waves on beaches all over the country that work at different times of year. We will even find waves in the NE monsoon.

Just finished our best surf video yet, filmed South of Rayong on an average day.

http://www.sportsthailand.net/video/surf_bangkok_2-1

The Camera got knocked down and was pointing at my feet half the time, then it fogged up, and not much usable video from the beach, a shame because everyone got good rides that day... have to do it again :)

Sorry not much footage of Bo and Tony who were styl'n

The guy who can actually surf, the one on the Longboard showed us this location, many thanks to you Surfer Dude - (cant wait to see you get even more rides on SUP)

WInd this morning looking very light...

Have a good one,

Am and Craig
Northern Thailand’s most colourful hill tribe
Northern Thailand’s most colourful hill tribe
Posted by Arda on June 22nd, 2009 filed in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, Activities, Thailand travel

One of the most popular activities for many visitors to Northern Thailand is a trek to one of the many hill tribe villages. Photos of these minority groups are regularly splashed all over tourist brochures and internet sites. Tour groups are a daily feature in some of the villages as visitors snoop around, buy a few handicrafts, take some photos and then leave.

Most of the hill tribes are subsistence farmers and have been marginalised by the Thai government. The government refuses to recognise their existence by providing ID cards or formal rights. The tourists who enter the villages rarely understand the problems they face and the harsh conditions forced upon them.

There has been some small waves in Koh Samui last week, today it's flat, but beautiful clear waters for swimming and diving.

Nikki Beach had it's grand opening party last weekend with most of the island of Samui attending. Surprised the island didn't flip over with everbody being concentrated in such a small place

Here are some hotels and resorts to stay at in Samui

Surfing Cape Pakarang, Phang Nga, Thailand

The surf at Cape Pakarang is probably the most consistent in Thailand due to it's location and ability to pick up swells from the Indian Ocean. While Phuket has been flat, we have been surfing small but fun waves almost everyday. The longboards help too.
